Module 2: Child Maltreatment

Introduction

The third presentation in Module 2, Child Maltreatment, introduces you to the scope of the child maltreatment problem. In this presentation, you will learn about types of child maltreatment, the occurrence and consequences of child maltreatment in the United States, the application of the Socio-Ecological Model to child maltreatment, promising practices, and how primary prevention broadens the work of those working in child maltreatment prevention.
