Module 2: Sexual Violence

Introduction

The fifth presentation in Module 2, Sexual Violence, introduces you to the scope of the sexual violence problem. In this presentation, you will learn the definition of sexual violence, the occurrence and consequences of sexual violence in the United States, the application of the Socio-Ecological Model to sexual violence, and how primary prevention broadens the work of those working in sexual violence prevention.

  • Explain the interrelationship of sexual violence with other forms of violence
