Technical Requirements

In order to successfully complete the modules, your equipment should meet the following minimum hardware and software requirements:

• 266 MHz Intel Pentium III processor or better
• 64 MB or more of RAM
• 200 MB free on the hard disk
• 56.6 KBPS or LAN connection to the Internet
• Internet connection
• 16-bit or better sound card and speakers
• 15-inch color monitor or larger
• 65,000-color or better video display card
• Windows XP, 2000, 98, or NT 4.0 with Service Pack 3
• Netscape Navigator 7.0 or later OR Internet Explorer 5.0 or later
• Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0 or later (free)
• Macromedia Flash Player 7.0 or later (free)

If your equipment doesn't meet these minimum technical requirements, you may experience technical problems and longer wait times for course materials to load, resulting in a very frustrating experience for you.
