PREVENT Workshop: Moving Towards Violence Prevention
A diverse team of workshop instructors will bring a wealth of experience in teaching these skills and concepts. The PREVENT team will help guide the development of the workshop curricula.

"Program Planning" section-- Kim Freire, MPH
Coaches will work with participants during and after the workshop and serve as "learning facilitators". They are individuals with practical experience applying the concepts and skills covered in the workshop and they serve as supportive "troubleshooters". Your team will be assigned a coach who will work with you to help find answers to the questions that come up as your team starts to apply the skills and concepts back on the job. Through scheduled phone calls and review of planning documents, your coach will provide guidance and assistance for three months after the workshop.
